BSG Wismut Gera – Soccer Jersey Donation :-)

After a long time and much anticipation, Maddi finally had the opportunity to visit our children in Mae Hae again with Matze from the BSG Wismut Gera football club. Apart from the joy of seeing them again, the main thing was to do something special for the children.

In consultation with the BSG Wismut Gera club, the B-youth team decided to donate their jerseys as well as a financial donation. This idea received enthusiastic approval from all sides and the anticipation of seeing the children’s beaming faces grew with every moment.

On the day of the jersey handover, one day before the official vacations, the children and their families gathered full of anticipation, not knowing what was going to happen. When the jerseys of the BSG Wismut Gera B youth team were presented, you could literally feel the children’s excitement. It was a great moment. The children immediately put on the jerseys and were beaming all over their faces.

It was an unforgettable experience for Matze to be able to present the jerseys to the children on behalf of BSG Wismut Gera. This shows once again how sport and the shared joy of soccer can bring people from different parts of the world together.

A big thank you to BSG Wismut Gera for the jersey donation that made this special encounter possible.
